WOOOOHOOOOO!!! I wish you could hear my screams of excitement! I was SHOCKED when I got on the scale this morning. I have to say, every morning waking up is like Christmas. I felt like a little kid this morning. I woke up at 4am but kept trying to talk myself into staying in the bed a little longer just anticipating the scale. Finally at 5am, I hopped on the scale and VIOLA! 2.5lbs loss!

Yesterday's food consisted of:
(B) Green Tea and Apple
(L) HCG dieters chili recipe & small clementine orange
(D) Beef Lettuce wraps. Absolutely Love These!

My body seems to really do well with Beef for my meals. Even when I was on the protocol a few years ago, I remembered the same thing. Veal and asparagus caused great releases.

I need to release as much fat as I can before next week. Unfortunately I'm expecting a "visitor" and I'm sure it will slow down my fat loss if it doesn't stall me all together.

Anywho! I'm going to Live in the Moment and LOVE my progress thus far. Need I tell you I'm repeating yesterday's menu?? lol

Enjoy your day!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-410332675868454512013-11-20T11:03:00.001-05:002013-11-21T10:20:49.019-05:00P2 Day 2 182.3 (-3.0) (-2.0)<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Helurrrrrrrr!
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">My favorite P2 meal is chili! I downloaded an HGC Dieters book a couple years ago, just so I wouldn't get bored with my meals. It's simple and easy and spicy!! lol! Just the 93/7 ground beef (100 g) garlic, chili powder, onion powder, a small diced tomato, chopped onions, a pinch of oregano and water. simmer and chow down! =)
I took my .5cc of the protocol and drank a 16.oz water now headed to training.

Lunch will be cabbage and sauteed shrimp in fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper and a little creole seasoning. I didn't season my cabbage as well as I had in the past, but it was edible.

I topped out at 185.3 this morning. That's a 1 pound gain for 3 days of loading. Oh well, hopefully it's all down hill from here =)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-26907582269355252722013-11-18T16:06:00.000-05:002013-11-18T16:06:09.685-05:00Day 3 of LoadingI just didn't feel like I ate enough =) Now I wished I had just started on the VLCD today because I still haven't had the appetite to eat much.

I was looking forward to eating and eating and eating but my stomach just can't do it. I weighed in today at 184.2 so I think this is all my little 5'2 Frame can take.

I'll start on the VLCD tomorrow. Yep! That means 500 calories of Clean Eating! I'm looking forward to it. To inspire my success, I even ordered a pair of Faux Leather Pants size 10! LOL! I'm laughing because I'm currently in a 14 and I'm sure these are European cut so that means they're a 6. I'll try them on and take a picture, follow the protocol and hopefully be in them before Christmas but if not, definitely by New Years Eve. =)

See you in the morning for a final weigh in!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-5225531216387271732013-10-31T22:00:00.000-04:002013-11-04T09:19:10.485-05:00I just celebrated 45 years of Life! =)Happy Halloween!

I'm excited, nervous and ready to party! With all the love that I received on my Birthday, one of the best gifts was the arrival of my vials of HGC! Yes! I received my delivery on my birthday.

I'm anxious to start, but I'm expecting to party again on Friday with a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I decided to load on Saturday and Sunday then start the week off on the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet). My daughter said she was not waiting for me, so I mixed her first vial on Sunday and she is officially on her Weightloss Journey.

I'll be back starting Saturday to start blogging. Enjoy your week!

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I've last blogged. I've decided I'm going to give HCG another go! This time I know I will be successful! I seem to always start around the holidays. LOL! What a challenge this will be. I know by Christmas, I will be skinny! =)

I'm ordering today. So I'll be back when my shipment arrives! BYEEEE!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-65176260839988588952010-10-11T10:04:00.000-04:002010-10-11T10:08:12.080-04:00(161.8)This week has been crazy!

I haven't been really eating all the recommended foods. I have been skipping veggies, sometimes bread and can't seem to get a grip. I always do well for breakfast and lunch, but in the evenings, I'm getting home late, eating late, skipping a part of the meal and even taking my HCG more than 12hrs from the first dose. I know this cannot be good. I visited a friend and didn't get home until after 9pm. I was supposed to take my 2nd dose of HCG at 6:30. I couldn't eat at her house, but she did have an apple. I don't know the weight, but it was average size.

Lunch - apple 75, chicken 110cal, bread 23
Dinner - apple (no meat, no veggies, no bread) Ughhh..Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-60564253852701657232010-10-06T21:55:00.001-04:002010-10-11T10:03:05.902-04:00Another Day of (162.9)Hello,

I think what's happening is, I'm really not eating enough calories throughout the day.

Lunch - Cabbage- 33cal, Chicken 110 cal, bread 24, fruit 59
Dinner veal - 100g. (126cal), cabbage, 32 cal, bread 24

Total Calories 408. I've lost another pound! Yipppeeee.. I am wearing a pair of pants I haven't seen in years! They're a 12 but like a jr.'s fit. Before I started this program I was thinking I would get down to about 135-140. After seeing how much FAT I've loss, I'm thinking that may be too light! I'll see as I lose more weight. Two people on my job said to me, "you look like you've loss weight".. hahahahaha.. I just smiled and said, "I DID" :). They've notice I've changed my eating and also, very cautious about "tasting" foods that they've bought in. I see the biggest change in my upper body. My bottom is a little bigger and although I know I'm losing some of it, too, it takes a little longer to see a MAJOR change. (i don't wanna lose too much of that anyway..lol)

My arms are skinnier, my chest area is thinner and my cheeks and neck are absolutely PERFECT! I can see how much slimmer my face is. I don't feel puffy at all!

I've been keeping my menu's really simple. Eliminating the sodium as much as possible and drinking my water. I will be trying a few new recipes that I found on this awesome Hcgdieters blog. It's http://hcgrecipes.blogspot.com/ I've used the apple dessert and I'm going to try the crab recipe this weekend.

I'm going to start looking into the plan for Phase 3 and 4. Just in case I decide that after this bottle, to take a break and then start again later. I'm not sure, but I like the thought of being able to do that. I'm headed home, so I'll check in later or in the morning.

Cya! :-)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-13094928593733045232010-10-04T11:43:00.004-04:002010-10-04T12:11:08.568-04:00P2D16 (163.9)I know.. it's not an error... I didn't lose anything. I'm not upset though. LOLOL My daughter just called me at work and said, "good morning ma, do you have something to tell me?" LOL she is sooo into my progress! It's not only exciting for me, but for her as well! She's getting a glimpse of what she can expect when she starts the end of this month.

Anyway, what I was about to say was, I'm not upset or surprised at the scale not moving this morning. I barely ate anything yesterday. I mean I didn't even write it down. I drank 4 cups of coffee, and had about 50 calories of strawberries for lunch. I did not drink much water at all, and then I didn't eat dinner until 9:30pm. I scarfed down chicken, an apple, some asparagus, the bread and 3 glasses of water and went to bed.

Today, I'm being more careful in not letting the day go by without eating like I should. Also, back to drinking my water throughout the day and night try and cram it all in at night. On top of that, I splashed a little Braggs L. A. on my aparagus, although I barely ate 7 of them. So, I'm looking forward to tomorrow, I expect some loss. Still excited and half way there!

I am definitely shrinking in inches. I haven't measured since the start, but it's very apparent to me and to a few others. My face is soooo small! A lot of the chubbiness is gone from my cheeks. One of the more important once's for me was the thighs rubbing. Ughh, well the mermaid is leaving! lol I'm starting to have 2 Legs Again! It feels GREAT. I will be taking pictures tonight just for my journal. I will also measure again for progress updates.

My coworker came by today and said.. "have you seen, (my name)". I laughed, I said, "yes, I've seen her Melting Away". He said I can see a difference. He's the only one outside of Sue and my daughter that knows about the protocol. He supports it and is so excited to witness the transformation.

Today's Lunch:
Chicken 100g
cucumbers w/braggs apple cider vinegar (24cal)
1/2 gf 69cal
melba toast 23

Enjoy Your Day!! :-)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-31909186141859504652010-10-03T09:34:00.002-04:002010-10-03T11:34:17.206-04:00P2D14 (163.9!!) LOLOLOL!!My daughter runs in here first thing this morning! "What did the scale say?" I tell her, "163.9" she tells me, "ma, that's craaaazy", then she smiles so hard! We are both soooo ecstatic! I am so in love with this diet. Not being hungry, energy galore, just sitting back watching the pounds melt off!

I just finished cooking breakfast (wearing my blue surgical gloves) lol. They had pancakes, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon, apple juice and strawberries. I had no desire for anything they had. I've actually been doing very well with preparing food for them. We've even been out to restaurants and I just drink my little ol' water. I usually eat my food before we go, and take a fruit with me just in case. This is very manageable and I'm really enjoying this time to think about my food choices once I'm past P2.

My daughter has decided she would like to try the protocol. She's 4'9 and 141 pounds. She's in college, but lives in her own apt. so I'm going to help her with her foods. She's going to start after her birthday weekend on the 23, use that weekend to load. Since she is a student, I would purchase, weigh and package all of her meats. She can do the veggies herself. I'm happy that she is willing to do this for herself. Just like her mom, weight has always been an issue for her. There was only one period in her life where she was truly happy about her size. She must have been in her senior year for high school. So she graduates with her BA next year, wouldn't it be great to be feeling FABULOUS and looking good for such a Great Achievement. I can't wait!

Well, I'm going to surf some recipes for the family and start on this day. Thanks for reading and I'll see you in the morning! :-)

Breakfast - strawberries (30cal), Black coffee w/stevia

Lunch - 100g of chicken, cucumbers in ACV (54cal) and bread (23)

Dinner will be a repeat of lunch. :-)

CYA!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-12266306165516299402010-10-02T12:55:00.004-04:002010-10-03T09:28:50.071-04:00VLCD 13 (166.1)Well I don't have to tell ya I'm thrilled! It feels good to finally be getting the hang of this. No more errors for me! I'm looking forward to amazing results by my birthday 10-31, so that gives me a whole month to keep it going. Now I know everyday won't produce big numbers, but a little goes a long way, so lets go! :-)

Today for breakfast I had Strawberries w/stevia and black coffee with stevia, too. I'll be looking online later today to look for the sugar free flavor drops to add to my coffee. I'm doing pretty good with just drinking it. I guess just knowing that it's for a great purpose that I can just about tolerate anything! I just finished preparing my meats for next week. I went to Sam's club and brought fresh chicken breast tenderloins, washed, trimmed all visible fat, weighed and bagged 100g each. Next I'll do the talapia. It's so much easier to just grab a bagged thats already weighed and marked with the calories, pop them on the griddle and go! I'm looking for some other veggies. Im finding myself getting bored with the cucumbers, cabbage and asparagus. I'll check online for more recipes.

Anywho, I have to get going. I've been up since 6am, did a few loads of laundry, cooked breakfast for the fam, did my Saturday morning radio show, cleaned my meats and now it's time to entertain my neice and nephew along with my little one. It's a Beautiful day, now we need to get out and enjoy it!

Enjoy!!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-61565320041396344992010-10-01T19:48:00.004-04:002010-10-03T09:32:22.675-04:00Evening P2D12I arrived home on time and was ready to take my second dose. So far 3-20oz cups of water and now drinking hot green tea. I also stopped taking my Vitamin D pills. I was reading that you should avoid oil based supplements and this one I was taking looked like a gel nyquil thingy. I'm not sure if it had some oil substance or not, but I didn't want to take a chance. I'll resume taking them later on. (its not life and death). One of those days where you just want to stay in bed and sleep all day. I was afraid to weigh this morning. I just didn't "feel" like I had made any progress. So I dreaded the scale this morning, but i did, and I was right. It didn't budge a bit, not one single ounce. I guess the bright side is, I didn't gain either.

Yesterday was really hectic. Well lunch was great and up until it was time to leave work, I was right on schedule. Unfortunately, I had to make 3 stops. One to my moms to pick up computer equipment to drop off for a friend, and then to the friends to drop it off. Both stops put me behind on taking my hcg and eating :( I also stopped at Walmart to pick up some latex gloves to assure myself that I'm not touching any forbidden oils. I made it home around 9, 3hrs past my 2nd dosage. I was not hungry at all and perhaps the Gurmur pill my friend gave me to try not only destroyed my taste for sugar, but my appetite as well. I forced myself to eat the dinner I had luckily prepared the day before. Chicken and cabbage with the braggs liquid amino. After weighing in this morning I decided to go back to the very first meal I had when I had the success. Shrimp, cucumbers with Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 grapefruit with stevia and my melba toast. I did pick up some Mrs. Dash something Lime seasonings.

Although I'm a little sad this morning, I have to commend myself at my ability to stay strong with my urges and temptations. I can't really call them temptations I guess the better word would be "habits". I'm so used to snacking and eating just because I want it, more than I need it but during this time I have been good with being "ok" with not having. To my surprise when I went to Walmart, they added a freezer and food section. This is the first time I've had to shop for the family since starting the program 2wks ago. I still picked up everyone's favorite snacks, dinner foods and beverages (I'm so glad I had that gurmur pill). I didn't crave, drool, wish or dread not being able to have any of the items I bought. Orange cinnamon rolls by Pillsbury are one of my favorites. I placed them in the cart thinking about how my little one and his 2 cousins would bake them this weekend. I'm so glad mentally I'm focused to succeed on this program b/c if I hadn't, Lord only knows where I'd be right now.

There have been a time or two where I was in tears at wanting that chocolate cupcake, snickers or caramel cremes. I actually took my money to the vending machine, walked around the corner and stood there talking myself down from the quick high that would end in guilt and regret. I had tears in my eyes as my mouth watered. But I managed to pull myself together and return to my desk without making a single purchase. I prayed that the feeling would pass. I kept envisioning where I wanted to be in the next two months. The Holiday's are coming and I want to be on phase 3 or 4 at least.

Well, I'm hoping and praying that TOM is the cause of this roller coaster of emotions and lack of loss and not anything that I'm doing to myself. I cannot wait for this day to be over. Its been a while since I've felt this low. I feel myself getting teary so I'm going to end for now. Don't worry, I'll be okay :-) This too shall pass.Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-29772032934562262742010-09-29T09:59:00.004-04:002010-10-03T09:26:53.420-04:00P2D10 On the Move :-) 169.2GM!

Well! I'm happy to report there's been progress! I weighed in this morning at 169.2! I'm thankful b/c today I got a visit from "aunt fran", (that time of the month -TOM) lol. So I'm just happy to see some progress :-) My mood is VERY Happy and not just because of the loss, but throughout this process I have been very lucky not to have experienced low energy, headaches, or any of the other things most ppl have complained about. I was actually pretty worried that perhaps I was doing something wrong. As my coworker explained it to me, it's a period of "detox" so the less you have to rid your body of, the less side affects I should have. I have already had a cup of coffee - black. Although I'm not used to drinking my coffee this way, it's tolerable and it also aids in hunger pangs. Morning snack has been my sliced strawberries with a sprinkle of Stevia. I'm now drinking my second 20oz cup of water for the day. So I'm heading in the right direction! Hoping not to make any more wrong turns! :-) I mixed a new batch of HCG mix. I did it without having to call Sue! I was very proud. The directions were very simple, but now that I've mixed it with her help the first time, this time I knew it was right.

That brings my total loss to -7.8 including loading, and -5.2 since staring the VLCD.

Well, I guess I should do some work. I'll check in later. Enjoy Your Day!! :-)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-17716136005305303532010-09-28T08:17:00.007-04:002010-10-03T09:26:17.375-04:00P2D9 Hopefully This is the Last DayHello,

I haven't been blogging the last few days to spare you the meek disposition I've been in. If you remember on Saturday, I found I had been making a few errors with some of the things I came in contact with. According to Dr. Simeons Protocol, it will take about 3 days to correct the error. This is day three and I'm happy to report that at least I haven't gained much. 170.2 is my weight for today and the last 2 days. Before the error I was at 169.6. I have continued eating right and calculating my calories.

I'm a fighter and I will Win this Battle! ;-) Hoping for a better tomorrow! (pray for me) :-)

Oh, I will be mixing a new batch of HCG tonight. Maybe a fresh start all the way around will jump start this engine. Patience is a Virtue and I've learned to exercise it very well.

I have been getting more creative with my meals :) My new love is Bragg's Liquid Amino, like the Frank's Hot Sauce commercial, "I put that***** on everything!!" lol I grilled chicken with Mrs. Dash original seasonings and steamed some cabbage with salt and pepper. Combined the two and drizzled some BLA in the mix and you couldn't tell me I wasn't eating Chinese Food! It was Delicious! So much that my whole family asked for it tonight. Another one that they all loved is the Steamed Shrimp with Asparagus and the BLA with other seasonings (non containing sugar) I slave to fix their meals while being extra careful not to come into contact with any foods or oils that could hinder my success, and they all drool over MY food! lol So perhaps this will make the "meal cooking" process a little easier for me. Not to mention healthy for them. So it's a WIN-WIN situation!

Well, on to more reading, socializing with the hcgdieters group and crossing my fingers for PROGRESS tomorrow!!

CYA in the AM! :)

Lunch Talapia (93 cal), apple (59 cal) cucumbers (12 cal), bread (23 cal)
Snack (apple 53 cal)
Dinner Chicken (109 cal), cabbage (79 cal)
No bread Total for the day 428, that's low! I may eat the bread later tonight and I weighed the cabbage but I didn't even eat it all. I had soooo much water today I totally lost count, but I do know that I had at least 6-20oz cups and 3 coffee mugs of green tea. So I'm good in the liquid dept. Lord PLEASE let the scale show a lost tomorrow :)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-88594909566119759422010-09-27T20:22:00.004-04:002010-10-01T10:18:53.143-04:00P2D8 Still HoldingNot much to say. Scale says 170.3

Lunch fish (97 cal), cabbage (49 cal), apple (58 cal), bread (23 cal) Total - 227
Dinner Chicken (110 cal), cabbage (21), apple (54) Total - 185 (Total for the day 412)

I guess I'm paying the price for the errors. I'm smiling b/c some were so dumb. I used a conditioner in my hair that could feed a small African village. After I applied it I screamed because as my head was in the sink, I could see the label and it had every food oil you could think of. I washed it twice and found another conditioner without the oils. I guess we'll see how long it takes for my body to rid itself of the "food". :(Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-63214237170800205792010-09-25T08:52:00.006-04:002010-10-01T10:14:39.014-04:00P2D6 Trying to be PatientWell after talking to Sue and a few "newbies" on the hcgdieters page, Coconut oil was the culprit. As of the day before yesterday, I stopped all coconut oil. Apparently all food oils should be avoided. Which means oil my body can accept/abosorb as FOOD. Coconut, Olive, aloe and palm oils are all food oils. My body will aborb it as food and prevent me from losing fat.

I weighed in this morning at the same 169.6. Perhaps my body needs time to expel the oil that I absorbed. I'm hoping for a better tomorrow.

Today's Breakfast
1/2 grapefruit 86 calories w/stevia
green tea w/stevia
melba toast 23

I think I'm going to pass on the apples for a minute, too. I'll revisit my menu from the first two days.

Time to start the day :-) I'll check in tomorrow.Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-4115782830688399462010-09-24T11:29:00.001-04:002010-09-24T14:34:16.982-04:00P2D5 Houston....We Have a Problem!Okay! Something is going wrong. Well in all honesty, I can think of a few things it may be. I've gained .2 oz as of this morning. I'm weighing in at 169.9. Now, it could be that I only ate 178 calories for dinner for a total of 411 calories for the day. I also have been using cocoa butter and coconut oil on my skin. I haven't been able to find what is acceptable to use as a moisturizer. I have to use something. After yesterday and this morning results, I haven't use anything on my skin but that can't last for long. I do not touch food oils (butter or any other) b/c I do use latex gloves while preparing meals for my family. As a matter of fact, I've only had to cook for them twice this week.

I also think I'm going to go back to green tea instead of coffee although I only put stevia in my coffee. Green tea is said to speed up the metabolism, so I think it may help. I'm not sure but I want to get back on track. Another thing it could be is lack of water. I didn't measure my intake but I need to drink more for sure. I can always tell by how often I go to the bathroom, and I think it was about 3 times. The time when I had the biggest loss it was allllllll day! lol I lost count.

So I need to improve: Water Intake, Getting as close to 500 calories as possible, NO CREAMS, LOTIONS, MOISTURIZERS until I can find one that I KNOW is approved. I need to also do better at taking the hcg as close to the 12 hrs as possible. I take it before 6am because I leave for work no later than 6:30. Sometimes I don't make it home until 7-730 or 8 :( I'm thinking of buying a little cooler to keep in the car or something. There's gotta be a better way to keep the schedule.

Oh well. I'm feeling a little disappointed, but I also realize that's its still early in the game. There's time to adjust and still win. I take responsibility in knowing I may have contributed to the gain today. I will adjust and see what happens :)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-84409955623817433212010-09-23T16:09:00.002-04:002010-09-24T14:33:54.062-04:00P2D4 :(I think not drinking enough water and also not eating enough yesterday may have contributed to this....169.4. That's only .5! I'm not surprised and trying to force that last grapefruit at 10pm, I'm sure didn't help.

Well, I'm not going to beat myself up. I just have to be more focused on what I eat, drink and touch. I have to find some products I can use on my skin. I know I used cocoa butter the last few days, perhaps that's catching up with me. Today I bought some Organic Coconut oil from a holistic store. I need to use something on my skin because its so dry and I can also use this on my hair.

Today's lunch was grilled chicken (110), cucumbers (31), 1/2 grapefruit(79) and 1 melba toast (23). Total (243)

I'm not sure what I'm going to have for dinner. No worries, everything's prepped and marked. just a matter of choosing :-) Oh, I also picked up the braggs liquid amino. I may do the stir fry with asparagus. I'm excited to try it.

I'll check in later :)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-7684950570039540012010-09-22T21:01:00.000-04:002010-09-22T21:25:21.125-04:00P2D3 EveningHello :)

I just finished eating dinner and while doing so, I started thinking that this isn't so bad after all. Its almost a little scary because besides the every now and then hunger pangs, I feel pretty normal. I say that because I know that this is partly a detox of all of the bad things I've been putting in my body over the years. Its been said that when you detox, you have some headaches, and some discomfort in one way or another. I've been lucky so far to not have experienced any. To help with the hunger pains, I eat my fruit for the meal as a snack. Its been holding me pretty well :-) One thing that concerns me today is my water intake. I didn't drink nearly as much water as I did yesterday nor as required. By 4:00pm I started trying to make up for it. I hope it doesn't hurt me tomorrow with weighing in.

Dinner was pretty typical although I did see an EXCELLENT recipe that I want to try. It has one of my, well two of my favorite items, SHRIMP & Braggs Liquid Amino!! It's an aparagus stir fry with those two things and it includes 2 cloves of garlic and fresh ginger with a few squirts of lemon! Mmmmmm! Unfortunately my grocer does not carry the Amino. It taste JUST like Soy Sauce but it's Natural and so much more healthy for you. I will pick it up on the way home tomorrow.

I had shrimp and asparagus, steamed with water and seasoned with Mrs. Dash Original seasonings and my favorite, organic CAYENNE PEPPER !! My Mouth is on fire! I found that I can eat anything if it's buried in cayenne pepper. I'm full just off of that but I still have to eat the 1/2 grapefruit. I'll eat that in about 3o min.

Total Calories for the day 439. Wow, I think I need to eat more veggies to get closer to 500. At least above 450. I didn't eat as much cucumbers as I usually do and I ate an apple instead of the normal grapefruit.

Breakfast was water and black coffee once I arrived at work. Lunch - Talipia, apple, melba toast and cucumbers.

I'm a little nevous about weighing in tomorrow. Calorie intake and water may pose a problem.

Oh, one thing that concerns me is my throat. Not sure if this has anything to do with the program but when I swallow it feels sorta bruised. Not like a sore throat but where the esophagus is. If I touch the outside (around where a man's adam's apple is) it hurt like a bruise but it's inside too. Never had a problem like this before, but I'm not concerned that anything's wrong, just wondering what's going on. Anywho, time to call it a night.

Pray for me :-)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-13749331744782152822010-09-22T05:19:00.000-04:002010-09-22T05:48:30.840-04:00P2D3 MorningGood Morning,

I'm just checking in before work. I have to admit when I awoke this morning I was a little nervous. Wondering if I ate right, came into contact with any prohibited oils, and probably every other little thing I could think of. Well, if I did, the scale hid it from me. I weighed in at 170.0 even! That's 1.9lbs loss since yesterday and 4.4 total loss :-) Slow and Steady Wins the Race. I'll check in later. Have a Great Day!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-38987913403508264572010-09-21T22:22:00.000-04:002010-09-22T05:50:00.470-04:00P2D2Today is P2D2 of the VLCD. I took my .5cc's at 6am. (i know that's a 1/2 hour earlier than yesterday but I had to get out the door for work) I was told its not tooooo much of a big deal being "exactly 12 hrs" when dosing. I try to keep it as close as possible.

Well enough of babbling, I know what your asking me, "did you lose any weight?" Well, actually I did!! lol I weighed in this morning at 171.9! That's 2.5 pounds loss so far! There's that phrase again, "so far" lol, the only good thing this time, is that we're going in the OPPOSITE direction!! I know this may sound weird but I when I awoke this morning, even before I got out of the bed, I "felt lighter" Normally I'm a little puffy or swollen, but I can't explain it, my body just felt a little different. I was very anxious to get on the scale. I had to wait until my hubby left for work. *Shhhhh, he doesn't know about my "diet"* Well as a matter of fact I didn't tell anyone. Even though I know he'd support me. Sometimes it's just easier for me to do it alone. I've always been like that. I can exercise alone, shop alone, go to the movies and out to dinner with Me, Myself and I. If he ask me, I'll tell him, but no need in going into it right now. As a matter of fact, I didn't tell anyone. Well except Sue. :-) I'm sure you understand why. "You can't lose weight that way, you'll starve to death", "losing weight that fast is unhealthy and you'll gain it back TWICE as fast". In reality, they'd think I'm crazy. I didn't want the negative comments and unresearched opinions. So I figured once they see how FABULOUS I look, I may share my secret. Well, I just saw the lights turn off around the house, lol I guess that means it's bedtime. But before I go, here's today's menu:

B-Black Coffee
about an hour later 1tsp of L-Glutamine to help with hunger/cravings. I dissolved the powder under my tongue, the same way I take the sublingual mix. It helped for a minute, lol.

Morning Snack (i was a little hungry) the melba toast (23 cal)

L- Talapia 110g (110 cal)
1/2 grapefruit (84 cal)
cucumbers (25 cal)
and 50oz of water before noon!!! I'm so proud of myself!
Total - 242 Calories

D- Shrimp (104 cal)
apple (58 cal)
melba toast (23 cal)
veggie..(0 cal)
Total -165

I had cucumbers set aside for dinner, but I didn't eat them b/c I was not hungry. I hope this doesn't hurt me. geesh.

Total for the day 407 cal. I hope this doesn't hurt me. I know you have to eat to lose weight but I couldn't eat anything else. Maybe it's because of all the water I've been drinking. Over 70oz of water! I hope that's a good thing. See you in the morning :-)Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5417540068999588629.post-67353446509166774662010-09-20T21:52:00.000-04:002010-09-29T10:05:27.752-04:00P2D1I think the 4th day of loading helped. I gained weight and now my official FAT Girl weight is....*drum roll*...... 174.4!!!!! Still not my biggest but definitely Miserable enough to qualify for one of the most miserable feelings in a long time. I decided that with all the other health issues going on, anxious and just a little stressed, that I would do my first day on the VLCD from home. I used this day to clean, weigh, label and store all of my meats, fish, shrimp and veggies. I'm not a fan of chicken but just to keep variety on such a short list of foods, I purchased chicken tenderloins and cleaned them as well. I have never been so organized and focused in ANYTHING in life! The food scale by Perfect Portions really made it simple. I wasn't sure of it's accuracy so I took a picture of the cucumbers I was weighing, texted it along with the numbers from the scale, to my old faithful Sue! She answered right back saying that what I had was correct and that I was doing a great job! I smiled, thanked her then confessed, "I cheated. I had help with my scale". However you do it, just be sure the numbers are right. So today's meal was as follows:

B- Coffee Black
L- Talapia 89g (88 cal)
Asparagus (34 cal)
1/2 Grapefruit (78 cal)
Melba Toast (23 cal) Unsalted
I drank club soda (10oz) and 64oz of water.
Total - 223 Calories

D-100g of shrimp (106 cal)
1/2 gf (73 cal)
Cucumbers (22 cal)
Melba Toast (23 cal)
Total - 224 Calories

Grand Total 447 Calories!

I also should add, I wasn't hungry and I felt much better than I did trying to start the day before. I was told to eat GOOD FATS! Not too much sugar. Today went so smooth, I'm actually a little nervous!Skinny Cowhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14225194653197075073noreply@blogger.com0
